It is a set of analytical procedure used to separate and determine the specific identity and quantity of each component in a formulated chemical product. The process involves extractions, separations and analytical investigations using specialised instruments and testing methods.

Usage

Product Deformulation is useful to:
  • Identify hazardous, regulated or environmentally harmful ingredients
  • Provide specific information of formulated products
  • Improve a formulation for competitive advantage
